How to create basic SMS & email templates?

Follow these steps to create text message and email templates in your TheraSaaS account:

1. Creating an Email Template

1. Log into TheraSaaS: Use your account credentials to log in.

2. Navigate to Templates:

   • Go to the Marketing tab.

   • Click on Templates.

3. Create a New Template:

   • Click New Template (green button).

   • Choose Add Email for creating an email template.

4. Fill in the Template Details:

   • Name the Template: Enter a title (e.g., "Test Email Template").

   • Subject: Enter the subject for your email (e.g., "Test Email").

   • Email Content: Type your message (e.g., "Hello, this is a test template").

5. Using Custom Fields/Values:

   • If you want the email to include dynamic information like the recipient’s first name, click on Custom Value.

   • Select Contact > First Name. This will automatically pull the contact’s first name when the template is used.

6. Attach Files (optional): You can attach a file if necessary.

7. Send a Test (optional): Enter a from and to address to send a test email.

8. Save the Template: Once you are happy with the template, click Save.
   

2. Creating an SMS (Text Message) Template

1. Go to Templates: Navigate to the same Marketing tab and Templates section.

2. Add SMS Template:

   • Click New Template and select Add Text.

3. Fill in SMS Details:

   • Name the Template: Enter a title (e.g., "Test SMS").

   • Message Content: Write your message (e.g., "This is an example text message").

4. Attach Files (optional): You can attach a file or link using a URL.

5. Test the SMS:

   • You can enter a phone number to see a preview of the message.

6. Save the Template: Once you're satisfied with the message, click Save.
   

Key Features:

• Custom Values: Use this feature to automatically insert details like the recipient's first name. The contact must be in your TheraSaaS system for this to work.

• Attach Files: You can add attachments or links to both email and SMS templates.

• Preview and Testing: Send a test message to ensure everything looks correct before saving.

This process allows you to efficiently create reusable email and SMS templates in TheraSaaS for communication with your contacts.
