What this covers

This guide walks through the full process of building a reusable email template in TheraSaaS and then sending it out as a campaign to your subscribers — from dragging in your first content block to hitting Send on a scheduled newsletter.

Designing an Email Template
  • 1Log in to TheraSaaS
Access your account with your usual credentials.
  • 2Navigate to Templates
Go to the Marketing tab, then click Templates under the Campaigns & Templates section.
  • 3Start a new template
Click New Template to create one from scratch. If you already have a branded newsletter template in your account, start from that instead — if not, reach out to support to get one set up.
  • 4Add elements to your template
Use the left-side panel to drag and drop elements like text, images, buttons, social media links, and more. Choose between single or double column layouts — single column is generally easier to read.
  • 5Customize your content
    • Add a logo — upload from the media library; if it looks distorted, resize by dragging the corners
    • Insert text — add a text box for your intro, body content, and signature
    • Use custom fields — click the custom field button and select Contact → First Name to auto-pull each recipient's name from your CRM
    • Add images & videos — drag and drop image or video modules, including helpful resources like YouTube links if needed
  • 6Save sections for reuse
Save specific sections of your template — like an intro paragraph or team updates — by clicking Save Element. Name it (e.g., "Intro with Logo") so it's available for reuse in future templates.
  • 7Preview and test
Always send a test email to yourself to confirm everything looks correct, and click through all links to verify they work before sending to subscribers.
Sending a Campaign Using Your Template
  • 1Create a new campaign
Go to Campaigns under the Marketing tab, click New Campaign, and select the template you just created (e.g., Branded Newsletter Template).
  • 2Name your campaign
Give it a clear, identifiable name, such as "February 2024 Newsletter."
  • 3Customize the template for this campaign
Update the content specific to this send — intro, call to action, special offers — and make sure all links and images are updated appropriately. Important: always send a test email after any changes.
  • 4Schedule or send immediately
Click Send Now to send right away, or choose a date and time to schedule it for later.
  • 5Set the sending information
Enter the From Name and Email Address, then set the Subject Line and optional Preview Text that will appear in your subscribers' inboxes.
  • 6Select your audience
Send to All Contacts, a Smart List, or contacts with a specific tag — click the desired contact list (e.g., General Newsletter or Referral Sources).
  • 7Send your campaign
After selecting your audience, hit Send or Schedule. Once sent or scheduled, it will appear in the Campaigns section, and your subscribers will receive the email.
Key features
  • Custom Fields — personalize emails with recipient-specific details, like names
  • Element Saving — save sections of your template for easy reuse in future emails
  • Testing — always test your emails to confirm they display and function correctly before sending
Common mistakes to avoid
  • Skipping the test send after making campaign-specific edits
  • Leaving distorted or unresized logo images in the template
  • Forgetting to update links, offers, or dates before sending
  • Sending to the wrong contact list or tag by mistake
