Custom Fields in 'Manage Fields' Resetting or Not Saving

Modified on Tue, 3 Mar at 5:01 PM

What you're seeing

You customize the 'Manage Fields' view on your opportunity cards — adding fields like consult date, intake date, or clinician name — but the customization resets a few times a week, forcing you to redo the configuration repeatedly.

Known platform behavior: Manage Fields customizations are currently saved per-user and per-browser session in some configurations. Clearing browser cache, switching browsers, or logging in from a different device can cause the view to revert to its default state.

This is not a bug unique to your account — it reflects how the platform currently stores view preferences. Until a persistent save feature is available, the workarounds below will minimize how often this happens.

  • 1Reconfigure Manage Fields in your primary browser
Go to your Opportunities board → click 'Manage Fields' → add the fields you need (consult date, intake date, clinician name, etc.) → click Save. Always do this from the same browser you use for day-to-day work to keep the session consistent.
  • 2Do not clear browser cache after configuring
If your browser is set to clear cache on close, this will reset your Manage Fields view each session. To check in Chrome: go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data → make sure 'Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows' is turned off.
  • 3Ensure all team members configure on their own login
Manage Fields views are not shared across users. Each team member who uses the Opportunities board needs to set up their own Manage Fields configuration while logged in under their own account.
  • 4Document your field configuration
Take a screenshot of your preferred Manage Fields setup and save it somewhere accessible (a shared drive, Slack, or your onboarding folder). If the view resets, you can quickly reconfigure without having to remember which fields were selected or in what order.
How to prevent this

Avoid clearing browser data while actively using TheraSaaS, and reconfigure Manage Fields from one dedicated browser profile. Use the same device and browser for all pipeline work until a persistent save is available.

When to contact support

If Manage Fields is resetting multiple times per day without any browser changes on your end, contact support — this may indicate a bug in your specific account configuration.
