Only Open Opportunities are Visible in The Pipeline

Modified on Wed, 7 May at 10:59 AM

Keeping your client pipeline views clean and focused is key for better potential client tracking. In this guide, you’ll learn how to configure your TheraSaaS account so clients can only see open opportunities—not closed, won, or lost deals.

? What Are “Open Opportunities”?

In TheraSaaS, opportunities can have the following statuses:

  • Open (active leads)

  • Won (successfully close/converted leads)

  • Lost (failed or dropped leads)

  • Abandoned (inactive or disqualified)

This guide ensures that clients will only see opportunities marked as Open.

? Step 1: Set User Roles and Permissions

  1. As an admin, Login to your TheraSaaS account.

  2. On the left menu, go to Settings → My Staff.

  3. Find the client user or click + Add Employee to create a new user.

  4. Click Roles and Permissions.

  5. Ensure the role allows access to Opportunities.

Tip: Using "User" roles and limiting your staff's Data Visibility Scope gives you tighter control over what your staff can see and do inside their account.

? Step 2: Filter the Pipeline to Show Only Open Opportunities

  1. Go to the Opportunities tab.

  2. Click the Advanced Filters button below the pipeline name dropdown.

  3. Under Status, select Open.

? Pro Tip: If you are changing browsers, you might need to do this step again as this change is only saved on the user's browser's cache.

? (Optional) Step 3: Create a Custom Dashboard

For an even simpler experience, consider:

  • Building a Custom Dashboard using widgets that show only open opportunities.

  • Give clients access only to this dashboard instead of the full pipeline tab.

This gives your clients a crystal-clear view of active deals—nothing more, nothing less!
