Conditional Formatting

Quick Overview

The Conditional Logic feature in our Form Builder allows you to automate actions in your forms based on user interactions. You can use multiple conditions, choose from diverse operations, and have the flexibility to edit them as you see fit. This feature empowers you to create smarter, more dynamic forms by triggering actions like displaying custom messages, redirecting users, or disqualifying leads.

Current Limitations

  • Conditional logic cannot be used to make a field required based on a previous field's input.

  • Checkbox and multi-select fields are not supported in conditional logic.

  • Conditional logic is not compatible with calendar fields.

Where to Find Conditional Logic in Forms

  1. Open the Form Builder.

  2. Locate the Conditional Logic option in the secondary top bar.

  3. Click on it to open the Conditional Logic Settings popup.

  4. Configure the desired conditions, including:

    • Displaying custom messages

    • Redirecting to specific URLs

    • Disqualifying leads

"AND" and "OR" Conditions

  • You can add multiple "AND" and "OR" conditions as needed.

  • Switching between "AND" and "OR" automatically updates all related operations accordingly.

Supported Field Operations

The following operations are available based on field types:

  • Text fields: Contains, Equal to/Not Equal to, Starts with/Ends with, Is Empty/Is Filled

  • Date fields: Before, After

  • Phone fields: Contains, Equal to/Not Equal to

  • Number fields: Greater than/Less than, Equal to/Not Equal to

  • Monetary values: Greater than/Less than, Equal to/Not Equal to

  • Single Drop-downs & Radio Selections: Equal to/Not Equal to

Alternative Workarounds

While making a field required based on another field's input is not currently supported, you can:

  • Use Show/Hide Fields to control field visibility based on user selections.

  • Display a Custom Message prompting users to fill in a field manually.

  • Redirect users to a specific URL if certain criteria are met.
