How to Create Stylized Surveys in TheraSaaS – Step-by-Step Tutorial

Surveys in TheraSaaS offer more customization and flexibility than standard forms. In this guide, you’ll learn how to build, customize, and manage surveys from scratch.


✅ Step 1: Access the Survey Builder

  1. Go to the Sites section in your TheraSaaS dashboard.

  2. Click on “Surveys”.

  3. Select “Builder” to enter the Survey Builder dashboard.


? Step 2: Choose or Create a Survey

  • You’ll see a library of existing surveys.

  • Click on a survey (e.g., Client Satisfaction Survey) to open and edit.

  • You can also create a new survey from this page.


? Step 3: Understand Survey Structure

  • Each survey is made up of slides (like pages).

  • Each slide can contain one or more fields (questions).

  • Navigation flows from slide to slide, ending with a “Submit” button on the final slide.


? Step 4: Use Conditional Logic (Smart Navigation)

  • Select a field (e.g., “Did you feel heard and supported?”).

  • Click on “Logic” to configure behavior based on answers:

    • Example: If the user selects “Always,” go to Slide 4.

    • If the user selects other answers, go back to Slide 1.

  • This allows personalized flows based on user responses.


➕ Step 5: Add New Fields

  1. In the builder, drag and drop the field type you need onto the slide.

  2. Click the field to edit:

    • Change the label (e.g., “Question #4”).

    • Add a placeholder.

  3. Click the “Options” tab to add multiple-choice answers or dropdown values.


? Step 6: Customize Styles & Behavior

  • Go to “Styles and Options” tab.

  • Under “Options”, enable:

    • Partial Submission Contact Creation – creates a contact even if the user doesn't finish the survey.

    • This kicks in once the first slide is completed.


? Step 7: Setup What Happens After Submission

  • Go to the “Submit” settings:

    • Show a Thank You message.

    • OR redirect to a custom URL (e.g., a landing page).


? Step 8: Configure Notifications

  1. Click “Show Notifications”.

  2. Choose Email Notification:

    • Add recipients (e.g., your staff or yourself).

    • Customize the subject line and email message.

  3. Optional: Enable Auto Responder:

    • Sends a confirmation email with the respondent’s answers.


? Step 9: Save Your Work

  • Click “Save” at the bottom of the notification settings.

  • Also click the main Save button on the top-right to apply all changes.


? Step 10: View Survey Results

  • Go back to Surveys and select “Submissions”.

  • Choose a specific survey (e.g., Client Satisfaction Survey).

  • Click a submission to view individual responses.

If your survey asks for name and email, the submission will be linked to a contact.

  • Open that contact’s profile to view the survey activity under Activity History.

  • Click the file icon to preview the answers submitted.
