Receiving Inbound Calls for your Web and Mobile App

Modified on Thu, 25 Jun at 10:26 AM

Answer calls, view caller details, and handle missed calls across both apps.

What this covers

This guide explains how to handle and receive inbound calls through both the web and mobile apps inside TheraSaaS — including answering calls, viewing caller information, and managing missed calls.

Web AppReceiving inbound calls
  • 1Log in and find your calls
Log in to your TheraSaaS Web App. Incoming calls are visible on the dashboard or in the Calls section.
  • 2Answer the call
When an inbound call comes in, a pop-up notification appears. Click Accept to answer through the web interface.
  • 3View caller information
Once connected, you'll see the contact's name, tag, and phone number — if they're already in your contacts list.
  • 4Handle missed calls
Missed calls are logged in the Calls section. You can also set up voicemail to handle them (see below).
Mobile AppReceiving inbound calls
  • 5Open the app and accept the call
Open the TheraSaaS Mobile App. When a call comes in, your device shows a push notification with the caller's details — swipe or tap Accept to answer.
    Important

Make sure notifications and phone settings are turned on for the mobile app, or you won't receive incoming call alerts.

  • 6View caller information
As on the web app, you'll see the caller's name, phone number, and tags if they're saved in your contacts list.
  • 7Handle missed calls
Missed calls are stored in the app's Call Log. Voicemail lets callers leave a message, which can be accessed through the app.

Make sure voicemail is set up so missed inbound calls are handled properly. You can configure it in Staff Settings for individual users, or in the Business Profile for general company-wide voicemail.

Use tags on your contacts for better organization, making it easier to identify and prioritize calls. For example, if contacts are tagged as "EHR clients," you can see that at a glance when those clients call.

Best practice

Import all contacts correctly and tag them meaningfully so caller details and priority show up instantly on both web and mobile.

Watch out for

On mobile, calls won't ring through if notifications or phone permissions are off. Check those first if you're missing inbound calls.
