Getting Started: Your First Form
Step 1: Find the Form Builder
Where to Go:
- Log into your GoHighLevel account
- Make sure you're in the correct client account (if you manage multiple clients)
- Look at the left-side menu and click Sites
- Then click Forms
What You'll See: You'll land on the Forms dashboard where you can see any existing forms and create new ones.
Step 2: Create Your First Form
Starting Fresh:
- Click the + Create New Form button (usually a bright colored button)
- You'll see template options - for beginners, try the "Contact Form" template as a starting point
- Give your form a name (like "Website Contact Form" or "Lead Capture Form")

Building a Simple Contact Form
Essential Fields Every Contact Form Needs:
- Full Name (Text Input)
- Drag "Text Input" to your form
- Click on it and change the label to "Full Name"
- Toggle "Required" on if you need this information
- Email Address (Email Field)
- Drag "Email" to your form
- This automatically validates email format
- Always make this required for lead capture

Getting Your Form Code
- Click Save Form first
